Community Forum In Support of H.U. Students Arrested at the White House

Wednesday Oct. 5th, 7pm, at Umoja House 2015 Bunker Hill Road NE, the National Black United Front (NBUF) will host a community forum in support of the Howard University Students that were arrested for their involvement in the Troy Davis protests at the White House.  All are encouraged to come hear first hand testimony from the students about what they experienced, their pending legal issues, and how they can be supported.

According to NBUF’s Vice Chairperson Salim Adofo, “It is vital to the internal security of our community that we support those that stand up on our behalf, for what is just and morally correct, especially if it’s our young people.”

The National Black United Front is an organization made up of concerned and committed individuals and organizations who have united to assume responsibility for a better quality of life for Black people.  It is a broad-based organization which includes all social, political, religious and cultural sections of the Black community.
